Looking For Hope

Too dark to find the right path
Shadows hide the guiding light
But fate is making its call
With dark promises of pain
So I set off running
But fate follows my every turn
The prison doors loom just ahead
and death is nipping at my heels
As focus becomes forever fragmented
And questions erupt in my mind
Can I survive this trial
Will I make it bake to her side
There are no answers in the darkness
So I push forward with feet of stone
Looking for a hope to find me
And show me the way out

Crossroads

So many roads I have walked down
So many crossroads I chose
But did I choose the right path
The road gets lonely at times
But it intersects occasionally
With a kindred soul
But all too soon the conversation dies
And I continue on my way
With shoulders slumped
Refusing to look back
For surely death lurks behind
So on I trudge looking for an end
And a time when my path converges
With another kindred soul
May the next soul stay
I grow weary of isolation

Controlled masses

lethargic and apathetic
the world has become arrogant
Intoxicated men stagger
screaming in spite of a world
that continues to spin round
Women laugh and barter
for a chip and a quarter
What happened to seminal perception
Down down down we go
Who cares how many shiny rocks you bring
In the land of the hollow churches
Bells ring ding and dong
and fake voices sing fake songs
as I pray for the day when seven arrive
to destroy the fake and return the fare

become sinfully misaligned
Lunar light has been sealed
Never again to be revealed
All for greeds sake

I try to relax
And start to breathe

The touch of swords hilt
The smell overtook me
